In the Name of Jesus...

In our culture demons are not seen as a reality, in movies they are depicted as fictional, but I was raised believing that they are real. In my home my father taught me to be conscience of the "world not of flesh and blood". This really helps me now in recognizing the reality that in our daily battles we do wage war on two planes, the physical and the spiritual. In Mark 5, Jesus shows that he has the ultimate power over the enemy, and as Christians, we do to. To many times we fail to take advantage of the power of Christ, not that we should be consumed by that thought as some... (Mr. Ben Hen). But that in our weakness he is strong enough to fight our battles.

I was raised to believe the same way that satan and his demons are real. It is funny how our society and the media and they kind of spin they put on demons. It is entirely unfactual and messed up most of the time. It's good sometimes to realize that they are real and they try to entangle us into sin. But God, is there to help us and to call on him to help us get through the temptation.

I was able to preach this last Sunday, and what I drew on was from the strength that we have thanks to Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. So many times we feel inferior to those demons and unclean spirits that try to get in the way of the will of God in our lives. Thanks Christian for reminding me that we too have the strength and power to be overcomers. Way to be an encourager.

The truth of the matter is that demons are real but in our world demons seem to be depicted in a way that seems to make them something that they are not. I here the question all thetime do you think demons are still around and real today, its like people think they disappeared.

You said Benny Hinn and I was thinking about some of the wacky stuff that he has said. One time, he was talking about a guy who had talked about him behind his back. (Hmm, Benny was now talking behind his back...)Anyway, here is what Benny said about that guy: "I would like to blow his head off with a Holy Ghost machine gun." That's our Benny Hinn!!
